Anthony WaltonAnthony Walton
President – Global Tribe New Zealand

Anthony is the founder of numerous not for profit organisations: Body and Soul Gyms; Zeal - youth and education programmes; Fuse - an annual creative arts event; Romania child aid and the Body and Soul national care network. Anthony is the founder of The Rock, a contemporary church based in Wellington New Zealand. Over the past 20 years The Rock has pioneered innovative ways of actioning Church including Global Cafe's - Cafe Style Churches. Anthony has authored a number of books and has been a guest speaker for various organisations throughout New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Europe and the USA. He was also the leader of Future New Zealand, a political party that has gone on to have a significant role within the New Zealand government.

 

David BurchettDavid Burchett

David spent 20 years in the entertainment industry running one of New Zealand’s premier sound and lighting companies. As owner operator David gained a great deal of insight into the nuts and bolts of doing business. David later went on to indulge his passion for all things IT and in 2001 took up a position in the Prime Minister’s office to become an IT advisor to the Labour led coalition. David currently resides in Wellington, New Zealand with his wife Kim and their two children.

Bob SandersBob Sanders
President – Baja Christian Ministries

Bob Sanders has been serving the poor of Mexico since 1984 when he led groups from Azusa Pacific University on short-term outreaches. In September 1991, with the support of several ministry partners, he founded Baja Christian Ministries. The poor have few earthly advocates, and we as the body of Christ, must be their voice and serve them through Christ's love," says Bob. He sees his main role as sharing the vision of Baja Christian Ministries with groups and individuals throughout the United States and worldwide. Part of that function is fund raising and to provide oversight to the Ministry. He is joined in this Ministry with his wife, Janet, and four children: Rebekah, Joshua, Timothy, and Joseph.

 

Cheryl WalkerCheryl Walker
Operations Director – Baja Christian Ministries

Cheryl Walker has served with Baja Christian Ministries for more than 14 years. She faithfully serves as BCM's administrator and is the backbone of the daily Ministry operations. She schedules the team outreaches and coordinates the myriad of details necessary for U.S. and other groups outside of the US serving in Mexico. She resides in Chino Hills, California with her mother, daughter Jenny and granddaughter. She has 2 sons, Richard who is living in Frisco, TX and the other, Daniel, serving on our Mexico team in Baja, Mexico since 2005.

 

Hector RubioHector Rubio
Field Director, Mexico - Baja Christian Ministries

Hector Rubio has been working with BCM for more than 14 years. He oversees most of the building experience for groups and individuals serving in Baja, Mexico. Originally, he and his family were recipients of one of the homes built through BCM. Hector has become a tireless and dedicated leader. He coordinates all of the construction preparation in Mexico, meets groups at the border, and provides group assistance in construction as necessary. Hector is soft-spoken, always smiling and has a great deal of wisdom and insight in structuring effective ministry in Mexico. Hector, his wife, Lorena, their five children and four grandchildren make their homes in Pipilia, Baja, Mexico. 

 

Daniel WalkerDaniel Walker
Assistant Field Director, Mexico – Baja Christian Ministries

Daniel Walker has been working with BCM since September of 2005. An assistant to Hector Rubio, the field director, Daniel is also one of the construction leaders and lives in Baja, Mexico. Daniel is engaged to Marta Calderon, a local teacher in Tijuana and plans to get married on September 14, 2007.
